Cafe Volunteer Profile

Eddy Flory

Eddy Flory has been volunteering at the cafe for about 3 years and can usually be found there on Wednesdays.

He has lived in the village for 30 years and is married to Patricia. He has 2 boys and 1 girl 'all grown, flown and cloned - into 6 grandchildren!'

Retired from the RAF Eddy has turned his hand to swimming pool management; bus driving and chimney sweeping. He has painted the hall more than once and is always to hand when the cafe equipment needs to be put away and set up again weekly.

He also serves on the parish and parochial church councils, Hunmanby in Bloom and Bayley Gardens committee's and can always be counted on to get his sleeves rolled up to get stuck in.

Eddy is also a keen member of the line-dancing group which meets on Tuesday evenings in the village.

Eddy's trade mark is his bow-tie which lends a touch of class to the cafe.

Thanks for your help Eddy.
