Hi, let me introduce myself.

I was born and bred in Hull very near the fish docks in the 'rougher' side of the town. I left school at 15 as most kids did in my day and went on to train as an electrician and later still as an electrical draughtsman.

I married Angie 38 years ago and we have three grown up children and three younger grandkids who I adore.

I became a Christian at the age of 27 from a very none-religious, none-church-attending, no-belief-background and have now been a Christian for 31 years and a vicar for 23 years (do your sums to see how old I am).

I enjoy walking, chocolate (slightly more than the walking!), going to the gym (sounds grand but don't be fooled) and reading biographies. I am passionate about Jesus and I really do believe He's the best thing that can happen in anyone's life.
